When I use Outlook for Windows I can drag and drop an E-mail into tasks
and it will automatically extract the information from the e-mail for
me, In Entourage, this does not happen. Entourage does not pull
information from the E-mail automatically. Do I have something set up
incorrectly or is this by design?

Thanks!

You haven't said what you expect to happen. Whatever it is, yes, you'd have
to do it manually.

Personally, I can't imagine for the life of me what sort of task you expect
will be created from a message.

On the other hand, Microsoft may know exactly what you want. There's an
AppleScript, built in, in the script menu (the S-squiggle menu next to Help)
called "Create Task from Message". It even has a built-in keyboard shortcut
control-T. So try that - does it do what you want? If so, that's pretty
automated - no need for manual efforts.
