I have finaly got my system up and runing with 10.2.6, although have
lost faith in Apple along the way... anyway to the current issue......

I have had daily crashing problems. Basicly screen fills with text and
must reset. I thought i had it beat when a week ago when I updated the
Pioneer103 firmware to 1.49, for a week i had no problems. Today it
crashed twice. Apart from wanting to sort out the crashing problem (no
it's not memory), I am trying to recover my Entourage email first.
It's all gone. All the configuration, mail and attachments.

I am assuming the mail is held in the file
users/userid/documents/microsoft user data/office x identities/main
indentity/database. Is there ANY way to recover it? It is now about
400k in size. I have not tried to reconfigure it. I do have a backup
from 7 days ago (Carbon Copy Clone), but I would prefer to have ALL my
email.

If i have to revert to the backup, can i just copy the file back?

Thanks,

Steve....

I'm afraid if it is gone, it's gone. Since it's only 400k, there's probably
nothing you can salvage.

Yes. You might need to switch identities (Entourage -> Switch Identity),
but that should be it.
