Arrrgh! I'm so frustrated.

So many applications cannot sync Entourage Notes (also known in PalmOS-speak
as "Memos") to a handheld. The list goes on and on:

PocketMac
The Missing Sync for Palm
iCal
etc.

What exactly is so difficult for developers in adding the capability of
synchronizing notes? It's so frustrating and an obvious thing that should
"just work" but doesn't.

Arrgh!

But the Entourage Palm conduit _does_ sync Notes/Memos. And it works via
Missing Sync to Cliés as well. Get a Palm or Clié. (And why should iCal
have Notes? It's got nothing to do with calendars. The events and todos have
their own notes, of course.)

Likewise, why is it so much work to synchronize Entourage data? (rules,
signatures, etc).
I'd say the biggest obstacle is that Entourage MUST not be running on both
machines. As is, any synchronizing utility would have to quit both
Entourage's, synchronize and then restart BOTH Entourages.

1. Not true.

2. Even if it were true, that's no big deal.

True! That's why I'm a grateful Entourage user.

> And it works via Missing Sync to Cliés as well. Get a Palm or Clié.

Probably will since my Handspring died a horrible death. I guess for
PocketPC, though, I'm still out of luck.

Because it has a calendar, Tasks/To-Dos, and access to your contacts --
doesn't that scream out to you for notes/memos? It does to me.

> The events and todos have their own notes, of course.

True, but they don't HotSync the same way sas true Notes/Memos.

As it turns out, I don't significantly disagree with you at all. :-)

I have the entourage notes add-on running, but can't get my notes to sync to
entourage. Should I choose txt files, or pwi files? Any suggestions would
be appreciated.
