UPS is picking up the stuff they need tomorrow. However I decided to
check with Microsoft just one more time if there was a fix coming. I
talked to a rep I talked to way back in the beginning and now, unlike
then, they are fully aware of the problem. She even said is it more
iCal isn't sending things to Entourage rather than the reverse and I
said exactly. They've heard nothing on a fix but said they have to be
looking at it due to the number of emails the reps have been sending
to the product team. This is one of their most major issues.
I'm just not confident that this can be fixed rapidly and I've wasted
so much time on it. One of the main engineers, over at Markspace,
indicated there are even some problems in Ical itself with sync
services and Apple's hard at work on that. I asked if this is an
Entourage problem or an Apple problem and he said that the trouble
we're experiencing in Entourage is specific to Entourage. But, it
seems there is more to one layer to the issue. I think I'd rather go
back to Entourage when all this is sorted out.
