Hi,

Is there some way to set Entourage 2004 to sort by "ascending" date order
when you have it sorted by Subject? I mean - if I choose "Subject" for the
sort field, it shows them all by threads - but within each thread, they are
"backwards" - meaning the first post in the thread is at the BOTTOM instead
of the TOP of that thread's "section" - this is really weird to work with
because I have to keep clicking "Previous" instead of "Next" when I want to
read the next message within that thread in the order they came in! There
has to be some way around this!!

Thanks so much for any help!

Jacki

Make a custom arrangement grouped by subject and sorted within groups by
Received (or Sent) with Oldest on top. m.

Thanks for the response, Matt... I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with how
to make a "custom arrangement" as you're suggesting, though it sounds like
what I'm looking for! Could you explain how to do this?

Thanks again!

Thanks a bunch - got it! Now if I could just get it to quit saving every
outgoing message in the Sent Mail folder I'd be a happy camper!

:) Yeah, we went thru that one before, I think.

I guess it's a bug (it's certainly not very nice of the interface to act
like you can change this setting when you really can't). However, I just
don't see what the big deal is. Periodically just move everything in
Sent Items to somewhere else. Or delete it or whatever.

Thanks for the info - The "big deal" really isn't a "huge deal" but it IS
quite time consuming to sort through that folder and decide which ones you
want to trash and which ones you want to actually keep! Especially when
you send hundreds of e-mails out each week (not spam - just real, legitimate
e-mailing!)... Just seems weird since this feature DID work before this
version! Wonder what they did that "broke" it?!!
