Slow after applying 11.2.3 update

I installed the update yesterday and today Entourage is slow ? 5-7
seconds to close a message or move from one folder to another, etc.

If you only just updated, it is likely the spotlight & sync engines are
indexing stuff and copying data around - this will take quite a few hours on
a large database. Things should speed up again when it's completed the mass
indexing action. ~Additions to the index as new stuff is created happens on
the fly without any noticeable performance hit.

It didn't speed up until I applied the most recent update, 11.2.4. Now
it's about back to normal.
