Hi

Following on from the previous query regarding shared calendars, can
someone help and provide guidance on how this is possible. We have two
OS X users with Entourage 2004 who need to view each others calendars.
Our mail server is Microsoft Exchange 2003. This is rapidly driving me
insane.

Thanks

Pete

Free/busy data should be available as long as the Public Folders server is
set up properly in the account settings.

To actually view another user's calendar, the user whose calendar is being
shared must first set up delegate access in Outlook. See the help topic of
the same name.
-----------------
1. In Outlook, right-click the top level of the Exchange mailbox in the
Folder list, and then click Properties. (The top-level Exchange mailbox
usually contains the user's full name and has a house icon next to it.)
2. Click the Permissions tab.
3. Click Add, select the user that you would like to give mailbox access to,
and then click OK.
4. With the user selected, click the Permission Level pop-up menu, and then
click Reviewer or any option that gives a higher permission level.
5. On the Tools menu, click Options.
6. Click the Delegates tab.
7. Click Add, select the same user as you did in step 3, and then click OK.
8. Select the delegate access options you want.
--------------

Then the delegate can add it to his or her account in Entourage.
--------------
1. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
2. Click the Exchange tab, click the account you want to change, and then
click Edit.
3. On the Delegate tab, click Add, and then type the user name or alias of
the person who granted you delegate access.

Mickey,

With the below instructions, Entourage 2004 will allow access to a public
calendar created in Outlook once permissions are set-up in Outlook? Plus
following the Entourage delegate set-up? Is this correct?

Thanks.
