Look in the Menu bar under Message. Resend is right on top.

You can customize the toolbar in 2008. Each window has it's own set of icons
you can add. Sorry, but Resend is not one. :-(

In the next update, I suggest they put an icon for resending messages
so it can be added to toolbar

Thanks, Diane, and others who contributed to a similar thread. I just used
the Help/Send Feedback on Entourage to send the following request to the
MacBU:

Please restore (from Office 2004) the Re-send button to the selection that
one can add for toolbar/menubar customization.

I know that it's now under the Message pulldown menu, BUT PLEASE spare those
of us with tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome from additional wear and
tear on damaged wrists and elbows.

And when the programmers make changes from one version to the next, PLEASE
include the words we might use in online Help in the index. I could not
find re-send or resend when I did search.

You can assign a shortcut to menu items with third party applications like
Keyboard Maestro. Check out this tutorial using KM with Entourage.

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/get_started/shortcuts.html>

Of all of the macro applications, Keyboard Maestro is one of the less
expensive ones. $20. You can use their demo to see if you would like it.

If you aren't using an expanded keyboard your wrists will thank you if you
change over. Takes about 2 days to get used to it.

The Mac OS can add custom keyboard commands without third-party utilities. Look under the Keyboard & Mouse preference and then Keyboard Shortcuts.
However, removing it from the Toolbar as an option was a dumb move. Many of my clients are complaining about it.

Don't forget that you have to quit and relaunch Entourage (or whatever the app is) to get it to pick up the new keybindings.

For my 2c, the third party utilities such as Keyboard Maestro and QuicKeys can be fantastic as you can override keyboard shortcuts in apps that do not allow customization. As well as providing macros where they do not exist or are poorly implemented.

I have a tutorial on using Keyboard Maestro. The latest version of KM has a
record feature that makes it really easy to create a macro. My tutorial was
written for the older version before the record feature was added, but the
directions still apply. Record just makes it easy for you to add new ones on
your own. I have them for many of the menu items that do not have a
shortcut.
