Has anyone had success syncing a pda phone with entourage. What do you
recommend? I am using a powerbook G4 MacOS 10.3.9 with Entourage 2004.

Griffin I have used two packages successfully. It just depends on whether
or not your PDA phone is running Windows Mobile 5 (WM5). The package I
preferred is called Pocketmac Pro, but it does not work with WM5. The
alternative, which I currently use is MissingSync. MissingSync is endorsed
by Apple and it supports WM5. Both applications support other non-Microsoft
based PDAs like Blackberries as well. I preferred the Pocketmac Pro
application because I found it easier to use than MissingSync. However, the
Pocketmac (Snerdware) folks have been promising a WM5 upgrade for nearly a
year while MissingSync delivered months ago.

Here are the links:

The crazy thing for me is that I only use Missing Sync so my tasks in
Entourage can sync with my tasks on Exchange. For some reason, Entourage
2004 does not sync tasks with Exchange server tasks.

Thanks,
Jules

I can also recommend Missing Sync. It works a treat between my Vario II
(Windows Mobile 5) and powerbook (10.4.8)

I've been using a BlackBerry with a new Mac (converted from a Windows
machine) for the past 3 months. I synch using PocketMac for Blackberry
which works very well.

RIM doesn't provide support directly but has paid PocketMac to provide
free support to Macintosh users which has been helpful.

For full backup and reinstall of the BlackBerry operating system, it
helps to have access to a Windows machine.

Good luck,
David

I have a Treo 650 and have been very happy with it for a couple years.
According to the latest Macworld, its also functions the best with Macs.

I've got a 650 as well, and it's pretty painless.

As far as the best? Well, at least until June...<g>
