    - Forwarding HTML in Entourage When I receive an email (i.e. Newlsetters w/ pics and links) and I try to forward them it only comes up as a text email. I have checked on the HTML box but still only comes across as HTML. How do I sent HTML documents If I use forward as an attachment can I edit the original document prior to sending? However when emails are sent to my mobileme account they will sometimes end up in the inbox under "My Computer". Does anyone know how this happens. I do not have any rules setup which would move certain emails.     - Public Folders and Sent Dates Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange I have Entourage set up to connect via my corporate Outlook Web Access. Works brilliantly and means I rarely need VPN. When I drag an email from my inbox and drop it into a public folder for a project weird things happen. If you look in the public folder from my Mac using Entourage everything is fine and the email has the correct dates. If you view the public folder from Outlook on a windows machine the email has the Sent and Received dates set to the date that the email was dragged and dropped into the public folder. Looking into the header it would seem that Outlook sees it as being sent by the OWA server to the Exchange Server and then received by the Exchange server. I would hate to have to go back to setting my Entourage to connect to the internal Exchang server and then using VPN when out of the office as the current setup is so easy. Fine except for one rule. The rule looks for e-mails from certain friends and moves them to the friends folder. However, since the upgrade to 2008 all messages that are not acted upon by other rules are dumped to the friends folder. However, I only want messages from certain people to be moved to the friends folder. I deleted the rule and reconstructed it, but the same problem persists. Suggestions? Thanks.     - Entourage Icon Disappeared From Dock? Hi, I have Office 2008. I turned on my computer this morning and the Entourage icon was missing from my Dock in OS X (10.5.4). I found this very strange. I had to go to Applications/Microsoft Office 2008 and re-drag it back to the dock. I have ruled out accidental removal from the dock, because I am 99.99% confident I didn't do that. There are three users here, and we have to open the message to see who was meant to receive it. It's shown like this: ownername<sally@isp.com>. I can't seem to find the source of the problem. There's nothing in the account settings within Entourage, which suggests that it occurred when I installed Office 2008. I have no idea how to change any other setting in Office.     - Strange issue with Entourage 2008, Exchange 2007, Outlook 2007, and At my office we work with an Exchange 2007 environment connecting to Office 2007/2008 clients, and we've been having strange issues as of late. We just recently enabled automatic email address creation (firstname.lastname@domain format) and it's caused odd issues with our Entourage clients and calendar sharing. Before, we used <logonname>@domain format addresses and everything was fine - Mac and PC users could see calendars, sharing worked fine, etc etc. After the change, Mac users have difficulty opening shared calendars. Because Entourage tries to open the calendar with usernames, it tries to look for the calendar as firstname.lastname on the server and not username. Unless you tell it to open the calendar specifically by looking for the username, it fails to open. Additionally, if the outgoing email address is set to be firstname.lastname@domain instead of logonname@domain users will be unable to send mail. However, logonname still works (even though it shouldn't because it's no longer a valid outbound address, inbound only) and is autocorrected when passing through the Exchange server. Finally, PC users cannot see the Mac user's calendars when the PCs are in Cached mode. When operating in Online mode, calendars work normally (as far as the PC is concerned). There are no problems opening PC users' calendars in either cached or online.     - Database rebuild problem I'm running Entourage 2004 V 11.3.6 on an iMac under OS 10.5.2 In the past six weeks or so, I've had problems with messages disappearing -- e.g., only the top half of my inbox window shows anything. If I click on blank lines, sometimes the messages reappear. Other times, I get a 4362 error. I've rebuilt the database twice in that time. Each time, I notice that it seems to restore messages that I thought I had deleted. Other than that, it seems to work OK for a few weeks, then I start having trouble again.     - Selecting multiple calendar items in Entourage 2008 Hello - when viewing the calendar in "Today" (single day) view, I'd like to select more than one calendar item at a time, so that I can apply the same category or project to more than one item at once.     - Categories no longer linked to incoming mail Any Help Appreciated: Running Office 2004 on imac G5 running 10.5.4 Never had a problem. Have no rules set up. Recently all incoming mail no longer highlights the category it belongs to, they were all set up to be coloured according to category. In Address book all categories are still valid and coloured accordingly but all mail now arrives in plain black. This just happened one day, all older mail that is in inbox is still coloured.     - Attachments Difficulties More often than not, when I attempt to send email with several attachments, it doesn't work -- I get an error message saying "An unknown error (4362) occurred." So, more often than not, I need to combine the attachments into a zip archive before attaching and sending. At first I thought it was because the total size of the attachments was somehow too large. But it seems to be more dependent on the number of attachments (more than 2 is always a problem) rather than their size. I've read that the 4362 error could be caused by a corrupted database. But I've had some (apparently unrelated) problems when Entourage told me that the database was corrupted, and I followed through with verification and rebuilding. However, the attachment difficulties remain. (I've also had Entourage tell me that the database was corrupted, but the verification exercise resulted in a "clean bill of health.")     - Some minor Entourage issues I need help with... Hello, need some help with these issues: 1. When I receive new mail and Entourage is open, (but not in the Entourage window) the logo bounces and has the email icon in the logo. The big E, bounces non stop until I check the message. Is there a way to have it either bounce a certain amount of times (preferred) or not bounce at all? I do like the email icon in the E, but not the bouncing. 2. When I reply to or open a new mail, the new window always opens up at the top left of the screen. I keep moving it in the center to send an email, and have tried closing the window in a new position to lock it there, with no luck. Is there a way to have the new and reply emails open in a certain spot? 3. Minor issue, but in Outlook 2007, when deleting an email, Outlook would go DOWN one email. When this happens, I find that if I open Activity Monitor and force quit the Microsoft Sync process iTunes will complete the sync with my phone. Every thing in his account is working normally except that in the last few months, the Sent Items folder is not updating on the server.     - POP downloading--Entourage & iPod Touch I'm still looking into moving to IMAP and having my Yahoo mail forwarded to a gmail account. But until I have a chance to sort that out, I have a question about downloading messages from a POP account. Right now I have Yahoo Mail Plus so that I can download messages to my Entourage account and have them offline. I also have it set to leave messages on the Yahoo servers until they're deleted from my computer. If I set up my Yahoo account on my iPod Touch also, what problems might I have? Do Yahoo's servers remember what's been downloaded to each device--or just what's been downloaded at all? For example, if I read mail from the Touch through the Mail feature (not within Safari), will those e-mails then not be downloaded to Entourage on my Mac? I shut down my computer for the day and the next morning upon starting Entourage 2008 it again moved all the e-mail addressed directly to me back to the My Computer Inbox. I am also running Messenger. I am logging into the machine using an AD account, so I should be using Kerberos. When I launch Entourage, it starts synchronizing, but I'll get the message, "this Exchange Server does not support Kerberos authentication." In the meantime mail is synchronizing behind the error message, and Messenger is logging in. There is only one account configured. I click Cancel, and continue to use Kerberos authentication. Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Email Client: Exchange

All of a sudden I am not receiving my e mail. I can send e mail but e mail not coming through. I have checked my account via webmail and mail on the server and being pushed to my iphone, but not comming through.

Any ideas?

what happens when you manually run the 'send & receive all' schedule -
do any errors get generated?

Just tried and no joy. The strange thing is that I have a filter in place that sends any mail I am cc'd on to a seperate folder and this is working fine.
