Read Receipts

Am I correct in saying that Entourage does not utilize read and delivery =

receipts, a feature that even it's free Outlook Express for Windows has? =
My=20
understanding is that you can set up Entourage so all out going messages =

request a read receipt, but that if those messages are sent to =
Entourage, no=20
receipt will be returned. So, that's not really a viable work around.

If I am wrong, how do you access the feature as I cannot find it =
anywhere in=20
the help files--online, locally, etc.

If I am correct, which I think is the case, is there a work around? =
Also, is=20
there any way to get Microsoft to add this feature as an update. =
Microsoft=20
likes to leave Macs in the dust at times, but really, this feature is =
how old=20
now?

I found this for you from a very long thread on this subject generated in
June. It is the cleanest answer I could find.

It was very good of Walt to post this. I haven¹t checked it in detail
myself, but I have been able to set up my own Entourage preferences to
recognize receipt requests and copy them to a special mailbox called
Receipts! so I can tell when one has arrived.

return receipt.
