I found this for you from a very long thread on this subject generated in
June. It is the cleanest answer I could find.
It was very good of Walt to post this. I haven¹t checked it in detail
myself, but I have been able to set up my own Entourage preferences to
recognize receipt requests and copy them to a special mailbox called
Receipts! so I can tell when one has arrived.

return receipt.
