1. How can I delete addresses of people that show up in the send box? For
example I compose a message and I type L and a name pops up. This person is
not in my contact list and I want to delete this person from that quickfill
or whatever field.

2. Also I cant seem to run MS Update from within Entourage. I am behind a
firewall so perhaps there is some interference.

Those addresses are not part of the Address Book, but part of the Most
Recently Used list. See this page on the Entourage Help Page for
instructions on controlling the behavior of the list:
