I'm about to change over from Windows (ME) to Mac. I'm currently using
Outlook 2000 and need to import all contacts, calander details plus
email over to Entourage 2004 once installed. Is it as simple as
copying over the PST file or is there a step by step process I can
follow through if a little less straight forward.

Thanks

If you use an Exchange account, just make sure that all of your data is
stored on the Exchange Server. Then, you can set up that same account in
Entourage, and it will load all of your data. If you don't have an Exchange
account, read on.

This page has a pretty clear tutorial for moving mail from Outlook to
Entourage.

Outlook2Mac advertises that it can automate the same procedure. However,
some users have noted that contacts, calendar events, and tasks don't always
transfer properly.

For contacts, calendar events, tasks, and notes, check out Paul Berkowitz's
"Export-Import Entourage" script package.
