In rebuilding my database (2004), I lost my newsgroup subscriptions. Is
there a way to prevent this in the future?

Thanks in advance.

I believe this may have been reported during the beta cycle and that it
was fixed either when the final release of Office 2004 was released or
with sp1.

Have you applied sp1 yet? If so, please post back and let the group
know. Microsoft employees are known to monitor some of these groups.

Thanks Bill. I am up to date with all sp. So it can't be that. My rules are
quite nutty, too. I deleted them and started over but still get the error
message (IMAP only).

Best,
