Hi Kev!

Try Message --> Forward as Attachment. This lets you send a message
completely intact.

Hope this helps!

I use a script called "Forward with All Headers". You can get a free copy
of the Entourage version here:

Thanks guys, Mickey, why do I need a script if I can just do what William
says?

Also, what if the recipient just want it all copied in reply, no attachment,
no forward?

Here is the situation: of course because I have Entourage and not Outlook, I
don't know what to do:

Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Groups.

I understand that you would like to stop receiving messages from this group.

Please send me a copy of the email with full headers so that we may do
some further investigation.

To view the full headers for Outlook or Outlook express please follow
the directions below.

If you are using Outlook Express:

The easiest way to get the header in Outlook Express is to open the
message and press CTRL F3, you may also view the full header of the
message by doing the following:

"File->Properties-Details"
1. Open the message.
2. Click on File on the top menu bar.
3. Click on Properties.
4. Click on Details.
Please copy the full header and paste it to your reply message.

If you are using Outlook:

"View->Option - Internet Headers"
1. Open the message.
2. Click on View on the top menu bar.
3. Click on Options.
4. Click on Internet Headers.
Please copy the full header and paste it to your reply message.

I might've misunderstood your request. Basically, William's method attaches
the original e-mail so that the recipient can open a copy of the e-mail and
it will display just as it displayed on your computer. The method that the
script uses essentially copies the information from the View > Source dialog
for the message and pastes it into a new message. As a result, the
forwarded message will appear to the recipient in plain text with all of the
headers and code exposed; in other words, it won't display as cleanly as
using the other method. Usually, the latter method is for submitting copies
of messages to automated servers for whatever reason. It should work in the
case you're mentioning though.

Mickey:
I'm really puzzled!
Isn't Entourage supposed to do everything outlook does and more?
Can't we keep this simple without scripts and forwarding emails.

Yahoo, just want me to send the message with the headers.
Unless I misread, they want me to copy the e mail with headers and paste it,
--responding to their e mail, correct?

They were clear about this.

This is what they said:

All you need to do is highlight the message you want to send to them in
Entourage, theen select Message > Forward As Attachment. Done deal!

How is that not simple?

I believe you can follow the same instructions in Entourage that Yahoo!
Groups gave you for Outlook:
"View->Option - Internet Headers"
1. Open the message.
2. Click on View on the top menu bar.
3. Click on Options.
4. Click on Internet Headers.
(This will open a pane containing the headers above the normal pane that has
the message body.)
Please copy the full header and paste it to your reply message.

Nope. In Entourage, it's:

1. In Entourage, open the message.
2. From the menu bar, choose View > Internet Headers (or View > Source).
3. Copy the headers.

Thanks for the correction. The options step is indeed missing in Entourage.
