I just noticed that messages I reply to have an indicator that points
backward to indicate that it is a reply. However, clicking it doesn't
take you to the original message. Is there a way for this indicator to
take you to the original message that you either replied from or
forwarded from.

Thanks

Kerry

I don't think so. However, if you open the message, a yellow information
bar should appear above the message body that may contain a link to the
original message depending on what kind of mail account you are using.

Thanks. Yes and no. Some items with the status indicator of another
message have the bar and some don't. I'm not sure why there is a
difference.

You get the link for POP and Exchange accounts, and for IMAP accounts that
have a server-side feature called "UIDPLUS."

To get the links to show for a non-UIDPLUS IMAP account, search for my post
from 2/18 with the subject "IMAP non-UIDPLUS Workaround for Reply Links."
