Abruptly only a subset of my contacts appear in the Entourage Address
Book, even though the full list is visible when logged into our
Exchange server by other means (Outlook 2001 under Classic, Outlook
Web Access).

Can anyone offer an explanation and a solution?

Is there something in the 'quick filter' entry box at top right of the
window (just under the toolbar)?

This is a tool for quickly matching a subset of contacts - for example [name
contains: "Bill"] etc. It sounds like you may have some text in there and it
is matching just a subset of your data.
