Does anybody know how to stop Entourage 2004 from sending my hotmail to the
main inbox and also stop removing my email from the hotmail server?

To stop Entourage from removing email from the server, edit the account and
select the Options tab. Select the check box labeled ³leave a copy of each
message on the server.

As for putting your hotmail in the main inbox, I would set up a rule to
handle that problem. The rule would be something like If <all messages>
(since it would apply only to the Hotmail account) then <move the message to
a folder of your choice>.

Hi Ed,

If you add the Hotmail account to a different identity, does it still place
new hotmail in the local Inbox? Is it possible that there are (or were) any
rules that would have been moving mail to the local folder?

Feel free to contact me directly regarding this issue,
Michael
