One of my users has thousands of contacts. When filtering by name, the
results are nearly instantaneous, but when filtering by company, it's
very slow. This holds true with both the QuickFIlter and the Find tool.
Is this normal behavior, or a corrupt index? Can a rebuild fix it?

Entourage only indexes the most commonly used fields for searching. I don't
think that the Company field is indexed, so that would explain why searches
on that field aren't as fast.
