Sorry. I would like to add new attendees to an existing calendar event (meeting) without having to re-send an invite (e-mail) to all attendees. How can I do this? I want to ensure that all invitees receive updates to the calendar event as the meeting room or the time for the meeting occasionally changes. Thanks for your help.  - Sharing a Project in Project Center Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel Email Client: Exchange This question relates particularly to the calendar in Project Center. I created a project in Project Center and want to share it with another person in office, which I did successfully. I created the project and added all the information to the calendar, which they were able to view. If the person(s) I'm sharing the project w/ adds information to the existing calendar (ie events) I am not able to view the changes they make on my computer. Ultimately, I would like to share this project w/ about 4 people in the office and would like each person to bea able to add information to the calendar that everyone can view and access.  - How to Change (Edit) the Subject line One of my long standing issues with Entourage, including the current 2008, is the tiny Subject line. I made some typo errors in a recent message and went to the Sent folder to correct the Subject using the Message/Edit Message menu option. When I tried to backspace on in the Subject, the message was deleted. Can someone tell me how to Edit the subject of an existing message in Entourage 12.0.1? I must be doing something wrong.  - Entourage has cancer! Every time I try to synch up my i-phone with entourage, the address list starts to multiply like crazy - my basic address book has about 1000 addresses in it but recently, during sync-ing it just continues to multiply ad nauseum and won't be stopped unless i switch the machine off.  - Database vs. Library>Cache>Metadata>Microsoft>Entourage folder I've always been under the impression that the Database in the MUD folder was where Microsoft saved all of the Entourage data--contacts, events, tasks, notes, etc. However, when browsing my User folder's cache folder, I came across a Metadata folder that seemed to contain everything also (as .vRgexxx files). Is this really a 2nd copy of everything that's in the database? Every now and then when I open Entourage or switch identities, Entourage wants to update that identity (as it did and is normal, the first time I opened it in Entourage 2008). I figured that maybe exporting my identity and reimporting it in a new account would end this problem. But then, all my accounts settings are lost as well as all my extra folders (and the messages in them)are lost, except for the Inbox, Draft and Outgoing This is a REALLY BAD PROBLEM. What can I do?  - Entourage 2004 vs. Outlook 2003 vs. OWA Maybe this is documented somewhere but I noticed something really weird. I use Entourage 2004 at home to manage may email and calendars. I had recently entered a bunch of all day events. They look "normal" in Entourage but at work I use Outlook 2003. All my all day events span 2 days from 7PM one day to 7PM the next. I double checked my Entourage and it looks fine. I have confirmed that OWA is also spanning multiple days which points back to Entourage doing something strange. How do you over come this? I have check that my timezones are set appropriately in both clients. All is set to CDT. Not sure if there is another setting or this is just one of those features. This happens for any contact having multiple email addresses when I open a new email and try to select an non-default email address from the window that opens showing my Contacts list. This problem started as soon as I upgraded to Office 2008 from Office 2004. For example, assume I have 3 email address for Bob: bob@gmail.com, bob@yahoo.com, and bob@hotmail.com. I want to email Bob. I click the New Email Message icon on the Entourage top toolbar. A new email opens, along with window showing an abbreviated view of my Address Book (names and default email address). I click Bob and his default email address, (e.g., his work email address) shows in the "To" field. I want to send him an email to his home email address. I click on the default work address that Entourage already entered in the "To" field, and Entourage shows me the other email addresses. I then select the home email address. In the past, with Office 2004, Entourage properly enters the other email address in the "To" field. Now, however, a different email address of that person is entered. For example, if bob@gmail.com is the default address, I click it, it enters in the "To" field. I click it again, see the other 2 email addresses for Bob, and select bob@yahoo.com. Entourage 2008 enters not that address, but bob@hotmail.com. If I select bob@hotmail.com, Entourage enters bob@yahoo.com. If I select bob@yahoo.com, Entourage enters bob@gmail.com. And so forth for all contacts having multiple This does not happen if I start by typing Bob's name in the "To" field instead of using point and click to select from the contact list. When I proceed this way, by typing "Bob" in the "To" field, I see all his email addresses and can select whichever I choose, and Entourage enters the correct email address. Again, this happened as soon as I upgraded to Office 2008 from Office 2004, and happens with all entries in my Address Book having multiple email addresses. I did not uninstall Office 2004.  - Horribly slow performance with Entourage 2008 Well, this sure wasn't the upgrade that Microsoft's marketing department made it out to be. The entire Office 2008 runs SLOWER than Office 2004 on my 2.33 GHz MacBook Pro Intel Core Duo with 2 GB of RAM. Most irritatingly is the launch time of Entourage 2008, and the INCREDIBLE LAG TIMES WHEN TYPING UP AN EMAIL MESSAGE. It can sometimes take a half-second for a letter to appear after I have pressed it on the keyboard. I am a VERY FAST typer, so typing and then waiting for my entire paragraph to show up is very irritating. Also, I am shocked at how much space Entourage now takes up on the screen, because of all the extra eye candy that Microsoft has added into the program... extra borders, larger font displays, etc. With my preview pane on the bottom, I used to be able to see 15 email messages at a time in my inbox. Now I can only see 11 at a time. This is even after reducing the font size of my list items to Verdana 10 point, and reducing the toolbar at the top to small icons. Ridiculous! It is clearly obvious that the people at Microsoft just don't give a crap about Mac users at all, and their commitment to Mac products keeps going downhill every year.  - Connection to Exchange 2007 SP1 After installing the update from file (not Auto Update) to our Office for Mac "test" machine, Entourage no longer wants to connect to our Exchange 2007 SP1 server. Keeps returning the "Mail cannot be recieved at this time: Bad username/password" error. The account is fine as the user can log into OWA with no problems. (Probably wasn't the usual way to archive email in Windows either, but I'm used to it.)  - Entourage 12.0.1 & Blackberry get out of Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel Email Client: Exchange I have recently upgraded to Entourage 12.0.1 and since doing so messages in the Entourage inbox no longer match those on my Blackberry phone. It appears to be a problem when messages are deleted or moved from the inbox in Entourage they remain on the phone. When you look on Outlook or with Web Mail they are gone, but they remain on the phone. If you do deletions or moves with Web Mail or Outlook they reflect immediately on the phone. (if you open a mail on Entourage it shows as read on the phone and visa versa). I read that there is a bug in Entourage that deletes the "mail id" which Blackberry (BES) uses to track the message and thus they get out of sync. I was also told there might be a server side issue on Exchange or BES, but our IT people can't trace anything. Since Send & Receive is not needed, I disabled all of the schedules. The question is what the heck does it think it is syncing?  - Not all contacts export to vcf Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel I am trying to export contacts from my address book to a folder on my desktop by dragging the group of contacts. The total number of contacts that I am trying to export is 380. I select all the contacts and then drag them to my folder on the desktop. When I open the folder on the desktop, there are only 314 contacts in the folder. I located one of the contacts that didn't export and successfully exported it by dragging it to the desktop folder. I then opened the vcf card of a contact that exported in the group and a vcf card of the contact that I had to export individually. I thought messages were empty but I was not sure. On Preferences I changed from HTML to Plain Text, then hitting Reply or Forward I can read message's hidden text.  - Office 2008 reminders don't appear automatically I have multiple reminders (calendar events) set to "Every Day" yet they don't automatically appear each day. The only way to get them to appear is to close the Office Reminders app and reopen it. Once I do that all of my reminders for that day appear. I've update to 12.0.1 and all my apps reflect this except Office Reminders which still shows 12.0.0 (071130). Microsoft Database Daemon is in my login items and I've checked Activity Monitor to confirm that it's running. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but I used Office 2004 previously and all of my reminders were created in that version. Any ideas why this is happening? This application is running on an Intel-based Mac running v10.5.2 with Entourage 2008 v12.0.1. I am having trouble sychronizing Entourage 2008 with an Exchange2003 account. Specifically the 'Sent Items' folder seems to cause persistent problems with constant 'Unable to synchronize record' error messages. I have tried all the typical suggestions - clearing the cache and re-synchronizing, creating a new profile (done on 6 or more occasions now), checking the database etc. Nothing unfortunately stops the error messages. interestingly if I send a message it is delivered fine, but the message is never (or rarely) synchronized to the Sent Items folder.

I have read of others having the same problem, but not come across any solutions?

Since I'm not seeing this on a similar setup, I wonder whether it could
be a server issue. Do you know whether the server has had all the
service packs applied to it?? Is it fully up to date?
