It doesn't sync Notes either.
If you want to do a one-time (or occasional) transfer, then my Export-Import
Entourage X scripts from

will do it. Actually you can read the "Synching.rtf" document that comes
with it to see how to synchronize tasks more frequently. (Do not make a
custom view for "all items" as that document suggests - just make one for
tasks, and another for notes if you wish.)
