I have an annoying problem with public folders in Entourage 2004. I¹m
connected to an Exchange 2003 server. I¹ve set everything up according to
instructions, and can view messages in my public folders, no problem.
However, the messages are continually refreshed and set to unread, and
generate the following error for each one:
Permission Error. Changes to the e-mail message "August 2003" could not be
saved because you do not have the appropriate permission.
Error: -18599
What¹s going on? I couldn¹t find any reference to ?18599¹ at microsoft.com.
I did NOT have this problem with Entourage X. Maybe its trying to
synchronize my local, Entourage view of the messages in the public folder
with what¹s on the Exchange server? Again, that didn¹t happen with
Entourage X.
Thanks in advance,
Rick
