Error log making me crazy

Is there anyway to turn off the error log in 2008? It's a huge downgrade
from the previous version.

If my server is down or running slow, an error is generated for each event
and each account. This creates a big log of the same thing and I don't need
to see them. Yet you can't easily select the errors and delete them all (it
deletes one at a time, which is dumb and slow).

So I'd prefer to just shut the damn thing off. Is there a way?

Hi Clyde!

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but look in Entourage -->
Preferences... --> General Preferences --> General and enable "Do not
show Error Log dialogs".
