We don't have this error listed, but often error numbers that are close have
similar fixes. Check out the solutions for 4362

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/errors.html#anchor-4362X>

To test if your database is the problem, switch identities and create the
problem account. If you can send through a clean identity, then do a rebuild
of your database.

Hold Option key when starting Entourage to rebuild. Be sure to quit
Notifications and/or Microsoft Database daemon first.

The rebuild did not help mine. I still get the error every time I add a
new 'good' domain to my junk mail list of good guys. It works so I have
just learned to live with the error.

check for extra Microsoft Database daemons. Go to System preferences/Login
and remove any entries of the database daemon from the 'login items' window.
Now start up Entourage again and hopefully the problem will have been
resolved.

Diane,

I am a little red-faced as I cannot find the ystem preferences/Login you
mentioned

1. I opened the System Preferences see NOTHING called login
2. I opened the Library folder and went to Prefereance and came up empty.

Where are the nasty daemons hiding?

In Panther, there is no Login Items in System Preferences, correct. (Those
instructions work in Jaguar)

Go to Accounts in System Preferences. Select your own account. Click
"Startup Items". Follow the rest of Diane's instructions from there.

We may need to update the FAQ for this for Panther too.

For the benfit of others. I found and deleted the file Diane mentioned
and it did not solve the 4363 error. The erro ONLY happens when I add a
new domain to te junk mail file. They get added and everything still
works so I will just live with the Error.

Thanks for all of the help
