As I have been upgrading the macs in our offices to Office 2004, and we=20
have begun to experience this problem, repeatedly. I know the fix - =
repair=20
message list and if that doesn't work empty cache and download again. =20
That's fine if it happens occasionally, but at least a third to one half =
of users=20
have reported this bug. That's not good news.
I would like to add that 2004 HAS fixed some other sporadic but vexing=20
crashing issues that were being experienced with Entourage X, but I hate =
to=20
see those problems replaced by another problem. Is this issue likely to =
be=20
addressed in future updates to 2004? It would be nice to have the basic =
mail functions of Entourage (via IMAP) run smoothly for once.
Sorry to bitch, but any info/update on this issue would be very much=20
appreciated.
