Entourage will not allow sent mail to AOL

I am a brand new Mac user and have several family members who use AOL
for their server. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change
so that Entourage will permit me to send mail to AOL? I currently get
a message that specifically says I am not allowed to send mail to
www.aol.com. I'm thinking this is an easy fix that I'm just not aware
of.....any suggestions, please?

This isn't a problem with Entourage itself, but more likely a problem with
your ISP/mail server.

I run PostFix as a local mail server so I can send mail from any location
without changing settings. AOL doesn't like this - it won't accept mail from
dynamic IP addresses.

AOL blocks a lot of ISPs. Not sure how you get this fixed, but it can be
done. Try sending with a different domain email address.

Please paste the exact error you're receiving. Make sure you have their
email addresses correct - they would not have "www.aol.com" in them.

You probably have to change the SMTP port to 587
