I am running Entourage 2004 v11.2.1 against an Exchange Server 2003 SP2:

The problem is I have a user that has folders nested three deep in his
inbox, and some of the third tier folders do not sync. If I login with
webmail, items are there. In Entourage, they are not present.

Any ideas on possible causes? Is there anything the user could have done to
cause the problem?

If you de-nest the folders (bring them back to the top level) do they still
not sync?

OK...I had actually figured part of that out. In one case, yes. However,
there is some weirdness too...

1) Most users do not have their inbox folders set to their own user account
under "Sharing"...in this case, it looks like this user's very own account
was given "ownership permissions".

2) When I try to move certain folders to the top, I get error -18600 about
not having enough permissions.

Any ideaers?!

OK, still further information:

Opening up the mail box from a PC with Outlook, one can move the folders to
the top level, where they sync with the Entourage client correctly.

Is there anyway to prevent a user from altering the permissions on their
inbox folders? I am strongly suspecting that is the problem at this
point...altered permissions.
