I am having problems with an email that is in my inbox. It seems to
have downloaded just fine but Entourage gives me the spinning
beachball when it tries to show it in the Inbox.

I have thrown away the Prefs. I have reinstalled Entourage several
times, and when that did not work I reinstalled Office:mac vX again -
all with no luck.

I cannot wipe out the existing Inbox files. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

This behavior could happen if the email is corrupt. Let's try the following
method
to delete the email.

A
1. Control-click on the 'bad' email
2. Choose 'Delete Message' option
If you still cannot delete that email, I suggest you rebuild Entourage
database.
Before doing the following steps, please back up the following folder. You
may save
a copy of the folder to another place on the hard disk.
OS X hard drive]/Users/Your username/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office X

Rebuild Entourage X Database
============================
Problems can occur if data in the Entourage database is not properly
associated.
There are two rebuild types available: a typical and an advanced rebuild.

1) To perform a typical rebuild of the Entourage database, while you press
OPTION
key on your keyboard, start Entourage. In the Rebuild dialog box, the
typical
rebuild option is the default setting. Click Rebuild. Use the typical
rebuild to
address minor inconsistencies in the database.

2) To perform an advanced rebuild of the database, while you press OPTION
key on
your keyboard, start Entourage. In the Rebuild dialog box, click Advanced
Rebuild,
and then click Rebuild.

Note: When you perform an advanced rebuild, Entourage removes all IMAP,
Hotmail,
and news messages from the local cache.

After rebuilding database, test if the problem disappear.

Please always mention the Version of Software

Waiting to know if it works

One note, if you have your preview pane enabled, turn it off, then try =
to=20
delete the file.
