My folders are set to sort with most recent on the top. However, while
Ent.2004 does display "Today" at the top, followed by "Yesterday", etc
(after clicking on the folder).... within each "day category", the
messages are sorted with the *oldest* at the top! This has created
confusion for me when looking for all messages coming after a
particular one. Anyone else seen this problem?

Thanks,
Scott Henning

P.S. If I click the "Sent" column heading twice, they are then sorted
correctly!

This problem can be caused by corrupt information store. Let's rebuild the
information store
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q268/3/22.asp
Check to see if the problem is solved.

If it doesn't work, please create a new identity in Entourage to see if the
problem occurs with the new identity.

This happens to me too sometimes. It usually goes away If I switch the
"newest on top" to "oldest on top" and back again. I haven't tried the
rebuild yet.

Yes... this is exactly my situation. If I switch the sort order twice,
it is then correct!

Thanks for your reply, Naren. The rebuild does not change the
situration. But I am suspecting it is a problem with the import from
Ent.X to 2004. Folders I have not resorted continue to have this
"mixed up" order. But as far as I can tell, once I re-sort a folder,
it stays correct, even when I quit and restart Ent. I will keep my
eye on it.
