Yesterday my Entourage began sending all mail to my deleted items folder.
The account (POP - comcast.net) had been working for months without problem.
I haven't added a new rule, or done anything that I know of to start this
behavior.

Any suggestions as to what I might do to return it to normalcy?

Thanks,
Dave Doyle

Hello Dave,

-If you are sure that you haven't created any Rules for moving the mails to
the deleted folder then try following troubleshooting steps.
-Try deleting Entourage preferences.
-You can find that under <Harddisk> / Users / Home folder / Library /
Preferences / Microsoft / Entourage preferences. ( This is if you are using
Entourage X or Entourage 2004 )
- If you are using Entourage 2001 then you can find the same under <Hard
disk > / System folder / Preferences / Microsoft / Entourage preferences

Note : Still if you have problems you can try creating a new identity and
check.

Hi David,

For the POP account, is it set to leave messages on the server? Also, have
any of the suggestions made any difference? Feel free to contact me
directly on this issue if you wish.

-Michael
