I have a MAC with an old version of Entourage X that has hit its head on the
2G limit.
I have installed Office 2008 hoping it would read the old database but, as
several people have reported in this newsgroup, 2008 fails to copy the data
over.
I still have X installed, but can't repair the database, it reports every
OK. I have concluded my best way out is to install Office X SR1 to expand
the 2G limit to 4G. I hope I can then export the emails for importing into
2008. But, I can't find any reference to SR1 at Microsoft. Is it still
available anywhere?

I have also seen refernce to Entouraid, but the home page for it says no
further development was done after 2002, is it still a usable option and can
it still be bought?

Thanks

Mick

You ca get the latest Office X update from Microsoft. It includes the SR-1
update as well as later updates:
http://snipurl.com/2rkpr

Once you install it, try rebuilding the database in Office X.
