Hi Rusty and Mickey!
Rusty, are you using Outlook 2003? This does allow you to use your Outlook
2003 software to connect to an Exchange server using RPC over HTTP,
bypassing the need for VPN.
It's not OWA, but the real full Outlook 2003 client that makes the
connection. It's a brand new feature. Check out Microsoft's website for
information about it

Does Entourage support this capability? Currently, no. If there will be
support for it, it will most likely come in a major release of Office for
Mac and not just an update to the current Entourage. The rumor sites are
buzzing that Microsoft may make an announcement about the release of Office
for Mac at the January MacWorld show.
Hope this helps! bill
