Assuming the user did not do a complete uninstall of an older version of
Office (and instead just deleted the Microsoft Office folder in the
Applications folder), the user files should be located here:
[Hard Drive] > [User] > Documents > Microsoft User Data > Office X
Identities > Main Identity > {Database, Mailing Lists, Rules, Signatures}
Once a new version is installed, Office should automatically locate and load
these files when it's launched.
If your version is older than X, I might be wrong on this, but I'm sure
someone else with more knowledge will correct me.
