Hi all

We have a G4 file server, running simple file sharing to 5-6 users through
the Panther built-in file sharing thing - one user account on the server,
nothing fancy.

Everyone is using Entourage, and they currently store their databases on
their workstations. Is there any easy, no-brain way for their databases to
be located on the server, so they can be backed up?

Gerry

What would happen if you put the Microsoft User Data folder on the server
and put an alias to it in your Documents folder? I haven't tried this
myself, but it could work.

It will work just fine. Make sure the alias is named exactly right -
Microsoft User Data - no leading or trailing spaces, and no 'alias' tagged
on the end.
