    - Entourage Calendar Sharing--Color Categories Being Lost Hi, I have been experimenting with group shared Entourage calendars via our exchange server. I am able to create and synch calendar events but when I apply and save color coded categories into the event record they persist for my own account but after synchronization the color coding is dropped and the event turns grey again. Does anyone know whether this is a bug or not? Is there a setting I can change to fix this? Can anyone recommend a group scheduling/calendaring solution that allows for color coded events which persist for all users accessing the schedule? Any replies will be very gratefully appreciated.     - Applescript: Delete Empty Folders I use Entourage Email Archive X to archive emails. I've been using it for years and now i have a ton of empty folders in Entourage. Is there an Applescript to delete these empty folderse?     - Install Entourage from SBS 2003 CD? I have the Small Biz Server 2003 CD set and there's a CD labeled Entourage 2004 dated Nov 2004, but when I pop it in drive to install, disk cannot be read. I'm trying to avoid having kick off the whole Server install to get to this one disk, but maybe that's what has to happen.     - Off by an Hour I just discovered a very odd problem on a staff members computer. When they make an appointment March 11, 2007 or later, the time displayed in the calendar is one hour later than in the event detail window. For example and appointment made for 9am on March 15, 2007 it will show up on the calendar as 10am March 15, 2007. When I open up the event to check it, it says 9am. If the event is for 9am on March 10, 2007, it will show up as 9am. For more info, this calendar is on an exchange server. This is happening on all users computers.     - Entourage archive problem I back up my mail by exporting it to an archive and then importing it to Entourage on another Mac that I keep only as a backup. This has worked successfully for years. Today I got an error that said: "Import Incomplete There was a problem saving one of your messages. You Office database may be damaged. Start the Database Utility to verify your database." It said "Import Incomplete" even though I was exporting at the time. The database checked out ok but I rebuilt it anyway. Same problem. I never used Apple Mail but tried importing all my mail into it - just in case Entourage became unusuable or the database corrupted. The import seemed to work fine. The only thing I've done that might have affected Entourage is I selected all mail with attachments and deleted the attachments.     - Exchange Delegate Cannot Accept Meetings In our company, we have an administrative assistant that manages calendars for 5 people on her iMac G4(10.4.x and Entourage 11.3.0). Of those 5 people she manages calendars for, she can accept on behalf of two of them and cannot accept for the other three. The message she gets (in the yellow bar) when she cannot reply on behalf is: "The manage events on behalf of <executive's name>, you must configure your delegation settings." And the Accept/Decline/Accept Tentatively buttons are greyed out. I've also had our network engineers remove this person's delegate permissions and re-add them, all with no luck.     - Upgrade of Office 2004 - my mail is gone :( I am running OS X 10.4.8 w/Office 2004 installed. While working today I was prompted to install the latest update to Office 2004. I did so and when I was done and I reopened Entourage I had an empty mailbox with a prompt to import my mail. As I have a couple of gig worth of mail, contacts, etc... I was stunned. Entrourage is now at 11.2.5 In poking around I have isolated my Entourage database (based on the name of database, the file assocation and the 2GB size) However, whenever I try and open it, it "opens" but I do not see my information - only the stinking "Welcome to Entrourage" default message.     - saving email attachments with Entourage I am using Entourage 11.2.5 and it appears I can only save attachments to a limited selection of folders. I click the "Save" button in the attachment window and the "Where" popup has some random (?) selection of folders but no provision for me to navigate to a folder of my choice.     - "message to verify they are valid." Huh? Hi, I am getting a strange error message when trying to send to ONE specific recipient who has a domain ending with ".biz". The error simply says "message to verify they are valid.". Nothing more and nothing less, which doesn't make any sense to me. It also says: "Mail could not be sent. Account name: "My Account Name"" However, the error number is -17099 so I checked the MVPS for Entourage at http://www.entourage.mvps.org/error/page.html#error-17099 . I tried to send an email to a friend with a 20mb attachment.. ever since I attached the file, my Entourage sits there frozen with the little colored pinwheel rotating. even overnight.     - Meeting requests Hello, Having an issue with meeting requests and not seeing the accept/deny buttons in the invite. Setup is Exchange server 2003 SP2 with Entourage 2004 with latest updates. The meeting requests are being generated from a calendar that out in Public folders. The invite recipients don't have the option to accept or deny the meeting. If the meeting organizer send from their personal calendar then the buttons are present. Before I do, a quick question: I have emails forwarded from a couple of different accounts to my Verizon address and I'd like all of my replies to look as if they are coming from one single email address.     - Entourage won't see the dictionary I have four new Mac Pros that I have installed Office 2004 on. In Entourage it would not spell check. If I clicked on the check spelling as you type box it wouldn't stay checked. I finally noticed that it didn't see the dictionary. But it also won't let me choose a dictionary.     - Entourage X for Mac and IE I have an Intel MacBook Pro. After the last round of updates, IE isn't loading properly. This isn't important to me as a browser issue, as I use Safari. BUT - I use Entourage, and I'd like to send out a mass e-mail that contains a link to my new website. I usually open the Keyboard Viewer to help me remember where all the accents are.     - Cannot delete message from inbox Hi, I've been having a problem with Entourage lately that I am hoping someone can help me identify. With some new messages, they will appear in my inbox twice. I can delete one, but cannot duplicate message from the inbox. Neither message shows up in my inbox in the webmail version of the email account (which is not a Gmail, etc. account) but it still shows up in my inbox via Entourage. I want to prevent people from being able to access my email (both one's I have downloaded, and one's that are still on the server) and to prevent them from accessing my user identity in the Microsoft User Data folder.     - Entourage and Kerio slow Hi, we have 2 users who report their Entourage being painfully slow whilst updating its folders with the server. The performance is so poor that it hesitates whilst they are writing emails mid-sentence. We are using Kerio email system (similar in principal to Exchange) and the client is Entourage 2004.     - REINSTALLING PROBLEM Hello All, Im hoping someone can help me with this problem. Basically, I have an ongoing problem with one of the machines in my office. All the software was installed before I joined and now one of the Microsoft packages on a G5 has died (well its lost its security code/serial number details) and I need to reinstall it.     - INbox 4000 Unread Since Rebuild Hi, After doing a typical rebuild of my 1.5 GB database (Office version 10.1.7; POP email) I hit Send & Receive and received ~ 4000 unread emails.     - Trouble importing Work and Home Emails into Entourage 2004 contacts I am trying to import my contacts into Entourage 2004 using a .csv text file. Everything works perfectly EXCEPT all the emails get imported as work emails (meaning with the Work label). I know that Entourage allows for up to (I think) six email addresses, but they can be either Work or Home or Other. How do I import them so that the Home or Other labels show up through the import process? Right now, when any number of email addresses are imported with a contact's info, they all are (Work). With over 1500 contacts, changing it manually is not something I want to do. Is there some way to label the field? When I get emails that have replies in them, I've notice the fonts get smaller as the thread gets longer. Even a non-Mac user is seeing these smaller fonts. They are so small, you can't read them. Example: (12pt font): thanks for emailing me. (received today) (10pt font): the meeting is tomorrow. (sent yesterday) (8pt font): when is the meeting.     - unable to auto-compress attachments with an Intel Mac Anyone having this issue? I installed Stuffit 11 for Mac (which is UB) but for some reason, Entourage can't stuff folders that are attached to a message. The error says 'Stuffit not installed' even though it is.     - deleting from server My POP mail is filtered through Spam Arrest, then goes to my in box in Entourage. The messages all have a tag on them giving me the choice to delete it from the server. I have no need to keep them on the server so have to delete each one individually. Is there some place to check so that messages are not kept on the server? I've looked through all of Spam Arrest and Entourage, but don't see such a choice. I know you can do this with IMAP, but I'm not using that email address at all, just the POP ones. Is this an exchange account? Could you be using an older version of
Entourage on a database that was updated?

Thanks for replying....but it seems to work now???No idea what
happened, but i rebooted and voila...no more problems.
