I have a memory of replying to your message, but it appears to have
vanished into the nether. Perhaps I replied to someone else on another

Yes, Entourage still wraps plain text messages, as it is encouraged to do by
Internet standards (RFC 2822, 2.1.1). All email clients do this, although
some allow you to turn it off on a case-by-case basis. Entourage does not,
unless you use HTML.

I can't imagine why. The recommendation is 78 characters - if Entourage is
doing 72 (to allow for multiple levels of quoting), that would cause less
problems - not more.
