I am unable to open attachments now that I am receiving my email on an
IMAP server. The same attachments can be opened if I email to an
account using a POP server.

Can you give a clearer description of what happens when you try? Do you
receive an error message? Are you able to drag the attachment out of the
window onto your Desktop and open them from there?

I have IMAP for the incoming and a POP (faster) for the outgoing. I have no
trouble with either. Is there a size limit on your IMAP server maybe?
