I believe this may have to do with duplicates of Fonts installed by Office
2004. I was having a similar problem with changing fonts in my Notes.
After about two dozen crashes, I got seriously fed up and started tooling
around. What worked for me was:
Quit all apps. Open Font Book app, pour a big cup of coffee, and scroll
through all your enabled fonts. Those with dots next to them are
duplicates, resulting (I speculate) from Office 2004 installation. Go ahead
and remove duplicates, typically removing the older versions, if a
discrepancy in versions exists. Restart machine. Open Entourage. Problem
solved. Please advise if this solves your problem or no.
