    - Calendar shift problem In Month View, if you change the first day of the week to another day (Preferences>Calendar>First Day of Week), the dates all shift but the appointments remain in the original columns; that is, ALL appointments will be moved to an other day!     - Sent Items Folder I have a new MacBOok Pro, and I like Entourage. However, Whenever I send an e-mail from either a a POP account or my hotmail account, TWO COPIES of the message are put into my "sent items" folder. I've tried adjusting preferences, but am stymied.     - Entourage icon in dock keeps animating for no reason?? My Entourage icon keeps popping up and down in the dock, and you would think that there would be some kind of error message or SOMETHING indicating why this is happening, but once you click on it, it stops..and that's it.     - Entourage 2008 keeps crashing I have just installed Office:mac 2008 and Leopard and the update to 10.5.2 I am finding that Entourage keeps quitting and then when I relaunch the program it shows in the top left tool bar but the program remains hidden from view.     - Printing email messages Hi all I'm new to Mac and Entourage, another recent convert from the PC. Sorry if this is an obvious question, but I've tried everything with no success. When I print email messages the header lines (Subject, Date From etc.) appear in very large type and take up loads of room. Also there's no indication that the message contained one or more attachments.     - Possible to view tasks in the entourage-calendar?     - Can you revert to 2004 by exporting and importing? Like some others here, I have been very frustrated by the difficulties of syncing Entourage 2008 with a Palm device. In addition I have been experiencing instability with Office 2008 that I never had with 2004, with multiple hangs when I attempt to execute formatting or font changes in Word. I don't have time to work through these issues, so I have decided to return to Office 2004, which always worked well for me, and which allowed easy synchronization with my Palm device. I understand that the main obstacle in the way of reverting from 2008 to the 2004 version is that 2008 has introduced a new database format and, while it includes a conversion program to convert from the 2004 format into the 2008 format, the process cannot be run in reverse. I would like to know if one could achieve the same result (backward conversion of the database) by first exporting the 2008 data into a neutral format and then reinstalling 2004 and finally importing the previously exported data back into 2004.     - Error Message Using Office 2008 for the Mac. When in Entourage under the Tools > Toolbox > Reference Tools: When attempting to get a foreign language translation, I get an error message that reads: "Office can not connect to the internet. Make sure that your computer is connected to the internet, and press RETURN to try again."     - no vodafone mail with Entourage 2008 Hi, Entourage 2008 under leopard 10.5.2 (German version) won't connect with my (German) Vodafone pop3-mailserver (unknown error -50). Mail account preferences were converted automatically from Entourage 2004. I created a new account manually as well, error -50 upon connection with that new account and with the converted account. The smtp-server is working, no trouble at all. As it is my main email account, I had to downgrade to Entourage 2004 which works very well. What is wrong? Help is appreciated.     - Remove Internet Headers When Printing I currently use Office 2008 for the Mac and when I print, the internet headers of Subject/Date/From/To/etc. Are printed by default with no preference to turn this off.     - Entourage Won't Launch (And Rebuild Does Nothing) Hello everyone. I am in serious tech trouble and need some assistance. I recently installed Office 08. For two weeks everything was great, but this morning I tried to launch Entourage and I got the dreaded "Entourage cannot access your data. To attempt to fix..." etc. I can think of no reason why I would have gotten this message. I have plenty of space and plenty of RAM. Alas, I have rebuilt four times, all to no avail. I even tried re-installing the software. Nothing. In a potentially related note, Word (while functional) also gives me a notice now that says something is wrong with the Database and instructs me to rebuild. Again, Word functions (does occasionally quit on me), but I can do NOTHING with Entourage. If anyone has ANY advice at all, I am completely all ears. Thank you in advance.     - How can I share Project Center email settings? I can share projects, such as "the Smith Project", with coworkers on the Exchange server, but when I send them an email that I've categorized as "the Smith Project", it does not appear with the handy pink dot that helps me organize MY inbox, nor does it appear under their "the Smith Project" project center mail tab. It would be a huge help if everyone in the office were able to have their emails automatically labelled the same way for projects, and also be able to look at ALL the email in the office associated with a project.     - Importing Data into Entourage Calendar I am a new Mac user and I'm trying to get data from my PC info manager (in .CSV text form) into my new Mac. Looks like I should be able to import the file in entourage as a .CSV file but it keeps wanting to import it into a contacts file rather than into the calendar. Eventually I'd like to get the data into iCAl with a move from Entourage. iCal doesn't like the .CSV file format; it wants a.VCS. Can anyone help me? Thanks!     - entourage - problems using email - multiple mail identities? Hi folks hope you can help with this problem. I'm not a tekkie so apologies if the terminology is dumb. I'm using Entourage (office 2004) on an intel iMac with OS 10.4.10. If I launch Entourage from the dock, the bar at the top of the window starts flashing and appears to be launching numerous Mail identities (I think that's what they're called). Anyhow - it gets up to around Mail 100 before it stops. And then everything just slooooows down. Can't close entourage - can't force quit. Can't shut down. It's taken me 15' to write this post. Office for Mac is the only non-apple programme on the computer. No third party stuff. Have repaired permissions - nothing seems wrong there. Any help much appreciated.     - Why blame MS I just read this entire thread to get a general idea of the issues that face someone trying to connect to Exchange with a MAC via Entourage. I have one question for everyone that blames MS when an update from Apple (10.5.2) broke something that was working perfectly. I have been using Entourage for about a month, and everything has been working fine, syncing my calendar to iCal with no issues whatsoever. After updating to 10.5.2, I have nothing but problems... Why the hell would we blame MS for this issue? It just doesn't make sense at all. Now ranting about both of them not fixing the problem as yet, I have no issue with, but back off the bash MS wagon when Apple obviously changed/broke the way sync services work.     - Override Default IMAP port I am having a problem getting Entourage to consistently receive my email. I believe I have found the problem, but something about Entourage is preventing me from repairing it. When I create my email account, under "Receiving Mail" I click on "Click here for advanced receiving options" and enter the information required by my ISP. I check all three items: This IMAP service requires a secure connection, Override default IMAP port (and I set the port to 993 as required by my email provider), and Always use secure password. The problem is that "Override default IMAP port" always unchecks itself somehow. No matter what combination I try, when I go back in to that panel, the other two items are still checked and the Override default IMAP port has unchecked itself. The port that I entered, however, 993, stays the same. Can you tell me what is going wrong? I believe that this is what is causing my Entourage not to receive my emails. Thanks.     - Updated w/ Entourage update 11.4.0 now emails take hours to send I have auto updates on my computer and on 2/12 or 2/13 Entourage 11.4.0 updated. Since then three of us in the office who all have this are having difficulties sending emails. Our emails show being sent immediately but don't actually arrive for 5-6 hours or sometimes even 24 hours. This occurs even if we blind copy ourselves as a test.     - Sound Questions How do you select different sounds for the various alerts? The help says that you can use the drop down to select different sets, but they only thing there is "Default" and I don't see how to add to it. Also, are the speaker icons in Entourage working for anyone? Whenever I click on one, I don't hear anything. BTW, one piece of information, if you change where alerts are played in the system preferences (in Leopard, at least), it seems you have to restart Entourage for it to pick up on that change.     - Entourage - Exchange One appt won't sync I have one appointment on one calendar that won't synchronize with one of my computers. The appointment shows on my PC, my Mac at home, my Mac at the office and through OWA, but on my new Macbook Air this one appointment and only this one appointment won't show up. From what I can see, all my other appointments show up fine. In an attempt to resolve it I've removed the Exchange account from Entourage on the Macbook Air and then readded it. Entourage removed all the appointments and then reloaded them all, but this one appointment didn't show. Does anyone have any guesses about what could be happening?     - 2008 Microsoft Database Utility - Issues I am having major issues with the 2000 Microsoft Database Utility v12.0 and would like to know if others are having problems. I am trying to change from Office 2004 to Office 2008 and had no problem installing or converting my Entourage 2004 Mail over to Entourage 2008. The mail seemed to work find. The ONLY problem I encounter was with the new Microsoft Database Utility. It would Verify okay but when I tied to compact my primary identity, it would HANG and quit responding after about getting 90% complete. The Rebuilt would run to about 80% of pass 4 of 5 then encounter and error and just quit. I do not think there is anything wrong with my 2004 identity as I just ran the old 2004 Database Utility and it passed both Compact and Rebuilt. I even tied deleting all messages in 2008 identity and the Microsoft Database Utility would hang just quit. Help..... anyone been able to Compact or Rebuilt a transfered identity using the 2008 Microsoft Data base Utility?     - Lost all my email. Please help. The situation is far worse than what I posted yesterday. After spending about four hours deleting thousands of emails, I thought I should rebuild the database because the delete folder would not empty and because I could not make Entourage quit except by force quitting. But when I opened it again, it was like a new program--not a single thing was there. I tried to open the Old Database, but the same thing happened or it wouldn't open at all. The program kept opening to a "saved identity" from July. I don't understand that at all. As bad luck would have it, my computer was set to save automatically while this was going on, so my saved Identity on another disk is doing the same thing. Is there any way to recover this?     - Office Reminders and Birthdays In Office 2008, the Office Reminders show all birthdays entered into Entourage as a day before the actual birthday. My date and time zone are correct in system preferences and in Entourage. The birthdays are also correctly entered. However, they are wrong in the reminder pane. And right away I have a question:

If I try "Open other USers folder" I just can choose the Inbox. Now the question is, how can I see ALL folders. Sent folger, trash, New created folders... etc.

You did absolutely the correct thing by starting a new thread. This is
*your* question, not someone else's.

In Entourage only three items can be seen: Inbox, Calendar and Contacts.
You can not see other folders.

Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see the ability to
see *any* shared folders in future versions by using the Help --> Send
Feedback mechanism in any Office application.
