In Entourage 2004, when I create new mail message (or new calendar event or
new task or new newsgroup post) the window for the new item is always
positioned in the upper left corner of the display. I then have to drag it
to a new, more easily managed location. It seems that most of the other Mac
apps that I work with remember the last position of a window and return to
that spot. I am new to Mac and to Entourage (and new to this forum.) Maybe
I am missing something? I searched on Google and found a couple of folks
asking the same question but no real replies. Even if Entourage does not
remember the window position, is there someway to set it so that it opens
some place other than the upper left corner, in other words, in the middle
of the screen?

Thanks for any help.

Regards,

Asimmons

Any thoughts? Does, in fact, new mail windows always open in upper left
corner of screen?

Thanks.

In playing with this, I noted one correction. Apparently, the task window
(not new calendar event nor new mail window) will, in fact, remember its
last location.

Would someone mind at least confirming that the new window position for a
new e-mail message is always in the upper left hand corner of the display,
if in fact, that is the case?
