Have a MAC system that has just stopped talking to my
Exchange 2000 server. Was working great then started
giving an error message one day. I'm told the error means
that it's not able to communicate with the server. Have
restarted both the desktop and server since with no
success.

Thanks!
Mark

Do you have the same error message if you use the IP address of the LDAP
server instead of its name ???

Yes, it doesn't matter which I use. The mail server is=20
our file server and I can access files from it, so I know=20
that name resolution is working.

Can you access the LDAP server through the System address book (after
configuring the app to use this LDAP server) ??

Hello everyone,

This is my first post here, I am new to this group.

I, too, am seeing a problem similar to this..

I have Entourage 11.0 (on OS 10.3), and Exchange 2003 Server with sp1
installed.

This was working for me for about a month, and now I am dumbfounded as to
how to get this working again..

I have tried deleting/recreating the profile, specifying dc=mydomain etc.
Tried using IP addresses instead of names to resolve

The error I get is odd...my contacts and calendar seem to talk to Exchange,
but Inbox fails, tells me bad username/password

I know the credentials are legit, as I use the same on Outlook 2003 on my
windows box, and OWA works as well.

ANY IDEAS?? Anyone?
