Hi All

New Mac user here.

Does anyone know how to do the following things, or know where I can get
info??::

1. IMAP. Folders in Entourage sync every time I am away from the office,
which takes ages. On a Windows Outlook client you can replicate the whole
folder structure onto the local machine so that only new mails are picked up
when out of the office. Can this be done on the Mac, in Entourage??

2. My company uses IMAP and Mdaemon Mail server on W2003 Server. This has
the facility to run shared contacts and shared calendars. These do not show
up on my Mac. Does anyone know if there is a way to reveal these in
Entourage instead of having to rely on a separate contacts and personal
calendar? OR, heaven forbid I should ask this!, is there another Mac email
client that can handle all this??

3. On a Windows client you can operate Terminal Services (mstsc.exe) and
operate a TS session from overseas/out of office to handle or run many
programs remotely. Is there a Mac compliant program which will handle this
operation on a W2003 server??

Thanks for any help in advance.

Cheers

Steve B

what version of entourage are you running? 2004 has the calendar sync
capabilities i think. as for terminal services let me try to understand
this, you want a terminal services client for the mac so you can
connect to an office termial server? this is a great way to work and
its very easy, go get the RDP client for OS X, its a free download...
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx?pid=download&location=/mac/download/misc/rdc_update_103.xml&secid=80&ssid=10&flgnosysreq=True

so hopefully thats 2 out of 3 for your issues...

Version of Entourage is 2004. I can¹t see how Calendar has a way of
sync¹ing with the IMAP server. Well it does not so far.

The Terminal Services tip I¹ll explore thanks.
