Entourage and Exchange GAL

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know what protocol Entourage (2004 or 2008) uses to lookup
Exchange contacts in GAL.

I guess what I am trying to find out is how exactly does Entourage connect
to the GAL?

We seem to be having an issue where some contacts at other site locations do
not populate within the list when typing a persons email address or name in
the To field. And even when we use the Check Name button, they still do not
appear. But on the PC end they do appear.

I was wondering if maybe it had something to do with the information added
to the Advanced tab of the Exchange account when configured. If I knew how
the 2 communicate, then maybe I could narrow it down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

LDAP

Are they connecting to the server address or the OWA web address? Do they
have everything filled into the Directory Settings area of the Account
setup?
