The autocomplete doesn't kick into effect until you've stopped typing for 2
seconds or so. So if you type quickly you won't get the problem which
happens at 2 characters. It may be that with only two characters there are
too many contacts for autocomplete to handle (memory problems), or perhaps
there's some corruption connected with one of the contacts which matches
"Je" but not "Jea". Does this happen only for "Je" or also for all other
2-character combinations? In any case, I think you need to rebuild your
database.
