Why is it that Outlook can forward an e-mail with complex HTML without
turning it into unreadable garbage and Entourage 2008 still can't?
Something as simple as forwarding an airline confirmation to my admin
still can't be done in Entourage 2008. I see that there are a couple
scripts that have been developed by power users to use complex HTML
from a saved file, but I really am baffled as to why a user can't
forward a message using it.

Has anyone figured out a workaround to this annoying problem?

Because Entourage has no HTML composing engine. When you simply Forward
you are creating a *new* message and copying the contents of the
original message. Entourage can't compose a new message with complex
HTML content.

Use Message --> Forward as Attachment instead to preserve the message.

Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see complex HTML
composition in future versions by using the Help --> Send Feedback
mechanism in any Office application.

Many thanks for the explanation. I will do what you suggest, although
if they didn't get to it in 4 years, I doubt that my sole request will
get anyone's attention at MS.

Methinks yours is not the only request Microsoft will receive. ;-)
