Is there any chance that Office 2004 will include a server- or
rendevous-based community calendar feature? Our office appreciates
Entourage, but we need the ability to view and change calendars. For
security reasons we prefer not to post outside our own network. We're
running OS10.3, primarily on Power Books, 10.3 Server on an Airport
Extreme network.

According to this article, with Entourage 2004 you can associate calendar
items with a project, and then share the project out to an AppleShare file
server, which other user can subscribe to. I think that will do what you
want.

Is Entourage 2004 the same as Entourage X?

No.

Entourage vX is the current version.

Entourage 2004 is the *next* version of Entourage, part of the Office 2004
suite that was recently announced and is due to ship 'spring 2004'.
