I'm a new Entourage 2004 user. I also have a Blackberry talking to a
Blackberry Enterprise Server and I use Outlook 2003 on a PC occasionally as
well. I'm happy with my new Entourage client but I find that when I delete
or file a message in Entourage, that information is not communicated to my
Blackberry as it would be if I did it via Outlook, or even through OMA web
access. The reverse is not true, by the way: deleting something on my
Blackberry does cause it to be deleted in Entourage.

From searching the newsgroups in Google, I gather this is a known problem.
Someone reporting talking to Microsoft about it and they were hoping for a
solution. Does anyone have one?

This problem means that my Entourage/Blackberry combo are now filling up
with spam at "twice" the normal rate because I have to delete everything
twice.

Thanks for any help!

We went through this with both Microsoft and RIM support for the
Blackberry. Entourage removes the email ID when it moves an email to
the trash. Unfortunately, The Blackberry needs that ID to track an
email. So, they lose sync. There is no fix at this time. I spent weeks
trying to cure this. It's not curable. neither Microsoft or RIM will
modify their software to make it work. I was told that Macs are not
supported by RIM.
