This is usually server error. If you have recently done a rebuild of the
database, Entourage will loose messages that have been downloaded resulting
in duplicates.
To get rid of duplicates use one of the scripts to remove duplicates.

This script uses a thorough method of examining message
headers that guarantees it won't mistakenly mark two messages that
happen to have the same subject as duplicates.
This script takes a lot more time than the other scripts. I've used them all
with no problems.
