Entourage X for Mac and IE

I have an Intel MacBook Pro. After the last round of updates, IE isn't
loading properly. This isn't important to me as a browser issue, as I
use Safari. BUT - I use Entourage, and I'd like to send out a mass
e-mail that contains a link to my new website. Unlike in Word, where
the program automatically turns URLs into links, the standard Entourage
"Insert Hyperlnk" command asks you to insert from IE window, IE
favorites, or IE history... and unfortunately, I hadn't visited the
site via IE on this computer, and I don't know if it would link in
anyway, since E isn't loading anymore. Is there another way to
designate/create a link to a URL in Entourage X for Mac?

When you compose a message the links do not appear active, but they are.
Just save the message as a draft and you will then see the active links.

Enclose the URL with < and > viz: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/> so that
if the URL wraps over more than one line, it will still work when it gets
there. Don't forget to format with the http:// prefix.

If you are sending HTML messages and your recipient is in Outlook or Outlook
Express WINDOWS, they don't get Entourage's type of clickable links. If
that's the case, get

I would suggest you use Barry Wainwright's "Insert Safari URLs" script to
insert a link to a page you have open in Entourage. You can get the free
script here:

You can also get scripts for OmniWeb and Firefox. Be sure to assign a
shortcut to the script for easy use.
