Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

I'd like to delete some old email addresses that show up when I start a new message. For instance, when I type a new email to my daughter, her current and last 3 email addresses show up and I have to choose from the 4. I'd like to delete the 3 old addresses. In my Entourage address book, only her current email address is listed. But email is remembering the old addresses.

Information for:

"The Most Recently Used (MRU) AutoComplete list"
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/glossary/mru.html>

Hope this helps!

The instructions tell me to go to Mail & News. However, these are instructions for X and 2004. I'm using 2008 and can't find Mail & News. Any links to instructions for 2008?

The instructions are still valid for 2008.

"Mail & News" should read "Mail & News Preferences", which is a header
in the list of preferences on the left. "Compose" is a sub-header of
"Mail & News Preferences".

Hope this helps!
